This year, the International Trumpet Guild (ITG) presents its annual conference May 24-28 at the Hilton Minneapolis. The event is sponsored by Bemidji State University and features Blessing trumpet artists Lew Soloff and Sonaré trumpet artist Bob Dorer. Lew Soloff is performing with the Steve Wright Big Band Tuesday evening and presenting a jazz clinic Wednesday afternoon. Bob Dorer, trumpet with the Minnesota Orchestra, presents a clinic session Tuesday afternoon and a lecture/recital with fellow members of the Minnesota Orchestra trumpet section Friday afternoon. Dorer is also performing on evening concerts with the Minnesota Orchestra Brass and the Minnesota Orchestra. Please stop by the Sonaré booth to meet our participating artists. Mr. Soloff will join us at the booth throughout the conference, and Mr. Dorer will be available to answer questions at the booth Friday afternoon from 2:30 PM – 3:30 PM. Details on our artist’s presentation/performance times are listed below. We look forward to seeing you in Minneapolis!
